Inspired by his speech at the 2018 Super Bowl parade, Jason Kelce recently launched Underdog, a unisex collection of t-shirts, caps and bags designed, printed and packaged in Philadelphia that pays tribute to the undeniable spirit of Philadelphia (and the Eagles themselves). Sorry, we’re kidding first, because the shirt pictured above sold out almost as quickly as the Eagles’ Christmas album (which also featured Kelsey’s work!). But don’t worry, there are plenty of other designs available (including another one that directly references his speech) and they plan to add to the “All the Crew” line. additional benefits? 100% of proceeds from the Underdog clothing line will be donated to Kelce’s (Be)Philly Foundation, which funds and promotes evidence-based programs to help Philadelphia students succeed and thrive. The first two beneficiaries are Coded By Kids and PFSS, both recently merged companies. Philadelphia futures and stepping stone scientists. Available online.

When you walk into this little store in Midtown Village, you’ll immediately notice that this is the real deal: There are seats taken from the old Philadelphia Stadium (from which the store is named), as well as other Philadelphia sports memorabilia, including a portrait of the Chewers life-size Gritty candies. For those feeling nostalgic, there’s nothing better than Shibe Veterans Stadium t-shirts and sweatshirts that evoke the concrete hole the Eagles once called home. Another Shibe original: a pun-filled tribute to Jalen Hurts. Shibe also sells non-exclusive merchandise from brands like Junk Food and 47. You’ll feel like you’re back in the basement playing with the Eagles QB in the Tecmo Bowl. Like all major liners, they also have a second location in Wayne. 137 South 13th Street, Midtown Village, 106 East Lancaster Avenue, Wayne.

Look closely at Paul Carpenter’s image of a soaring green eagle and you’ll see that its “feathers” actually represent the Philadelphia skyline. There’s always a bit of respect in Carpenter’s projects, which doubles down on his love for Philadelphia. Whether you’re looking to show off your love for Wawa or score a deal across the city, you can’t go wrong with irreverent Philly pieces with a Southern Fellini retro theme. Their jokes, references and memories will make you smile when it comes to Eagles gear. Their most iconic piece may be the pom-pom hat that reads, “Nobody likes us and we don’t care,” from Kelsey’s Super Bowl speech. To complete your cold winter outfit, they also offer matching scarves. They also have some vintage vet t-shirts, Super Jane championship t-shirts, and lots of Princess Diana paraphernalia with her Eagle Jacket. Considering how big Mitchell & Ness has become, it may seem crazy to think of them as a local brand, but they were founded here in 1904 and have successfully sold authentic vintage knits and other clothing for decades. They also offer retro gear at lower prices, whether you prefer a trucker-inspired Snapback tee or a Y2K-inspired B-Dawk tee. 1306 Walnut St., Midtown Village.
