The Nike Melbourne collection mainly combines green and light purple tones with colorful abstract prints depicting topographic maps.
In 2023, four WTA players will no longer wear the Swoosh logo. What’s more, Naomi Osaka, Nike’s top spokesperson, was absent due to her pregnancy. However, Nike still dominates the Tour.
Arina Sobolenko looks stunning in the Nike Spring Slam Women’s Dress and NikeCourt Zoom NXT White/Earth/Citron Women’s Shoes.
Emma Raducanou wears the Nike Spring Slam Women’s Tank Top and the fuchsia Nike Spring Slam Women’s Skirt with all-over pleats and built-in shorts. The 2021 US Open champion shoe is the Nike Zoom Vapor 11, a new shoe that replaces the React Vapor NXT.
The new Asics T-shirt of the first racket of the world, Iga Swiatek, is made in muted colors, mainly dark purple and light orange. The Pole presents the Asics Spring Race Women’s Shorts paired with the Asics Women’s Spring Race Graphic Tee.
Three-time Grand Slam champion Swiatek also unveiled ASICS tennis shoes released in 2023: Gel Resolution 9, we can see “Team Swiatek” and “Iga” on the back.
Ons Jaber, runner-up, represents Lotto in Women’s Spring Tech I D2 Tops and Spring Tech I D1 Shorts.
The new adidas collection is made from yarns that contain captured industrial emissions. Maria Sakkari stands out in the adidas Melbourne Tennis women’s cropped jersey with a multi-coloured print, built-in bra with removable lining and keyhole racer back. The bold graphics are inspired by “our planet’s natural filter of carbon dioxide”. The Greek completes the look with solid black Adidas Core Match Women’s Shorts.
Jessica Pegula’s outfit included a pink Adidas Melbourne Match Women’s Tennis Vest and a simple black skirt with the number 3 patch in honor of American rugby player Damarchi, who suffered a heart attack during a match earlier this month Mullin (Hamlin plays for the NFL Buffalo Bills, belongs to parents Pegula).
The WTA World No. 3 completed her outfit with adidas Barricade Blue/Purple/Mint Green women’s sneakers.
In addition, Samsonova’s paired outfit included a striped K-Swiss vest. Russian partner Veronika Kudermetova wore Giorgio Armani, her fuchsia tank top and skirt embellished with a bold monochrome animal print.
Former world No. 1 Karolina Pliskova, Laura Sigmund and other Fila-sponsored players introduced the Alley tennis line.
At Pliskova we can see the women’s Fila AO Merle tank top with racerback print and the matching Fila AO Lou women’s skirt with double pleats on one side.
Laura Siegemund wears the women’s Fila AO Elisa tank top, with distinctive stripes on the chest and back, and mesh panels at the armholes for added breathability. Her Fila AO Cosima women’s skirt features a scalloped pleated hem and contrast trim.
As for shoes, both players are wearing the Fila Axilus 2 Energized Purple Cactus Blossom/White/Spotlight palette.
Layla Fernadez is one of the rare facets of Lululemon in tennis. In addition, the US Open 2021 finalist is the only player to wear Roger Federer On Running tennis shoes.
The sneaker’s exact name is The Roger Pro, and it’s the first tennis shoe that On teamed up with the ATP legend.
New Balance’s Coco Gauff paired a classic black skirt with a white tank top with a unique egg-shaped cutout on the side. The highlight of her look is definitely the new neon dragonfly colorway of the New Balance CG1 teen’s signature tennis shoe.
Caroline Garcia is promoting a black and purple version of the Yonex Melbourne women’s dress. The collar is decorated with a delicate floral pattern.
Former Nike star Marta Kostyuk enters 2023 with a new all-encompassing partnership with Wilson. Ukrainians wear the letter “W” on their rackets, tennis shoes and clothes.
Another woman in red was Camila Giorgi. The stylish Italian promotes Giomila fashion for high-end sportswear.
Donna Vekic opens the new season with her own womenswear collection in collaboration with Uomo Sport – Donna Sport.
Danielle Collins, who was runner-up at last year’s Australian Open, wore Alo Yoga clothes, but they weren’t her official sponsor.
Sloane Stephens joined Sophia Kenin as the face of the Free People’s Movement in a peach pleated dress with a striped sash. This item comes with matching skinny shorts that can be worn underneath.
Another pleated dress came from Lacoste, which we saw at Anette Kontaveit in Melbourne. This 2-in-1 style features a concealed zip at the front and contrast piping at the armholes and collar.
What do you think of the tennis dresses worn at the 2023 Australian Open? Which WTA uniform do you like best? Tell us your opinion in the comments.
Nike: Colorful, but too eye-catching and distracting. ASICS: Flat, ugly and shapeless. Adidas: I love Mariah’s outfit, the crop top really suits her, I think it would be great on a hot day, but maybe not for everyone. K-Swiss: Hard to see but looks good. Fila: Looks like someone dropped a can of paint. New Balance: Never liked their stuff, too simple and sporty. Yonex: I love these classic looks. Wilson: We need better bras. Jomila: I think Camila always looks great. However, these outfits may not suit everyone. Free People: Peach was never a good idea. With her skin tone, Sloane would have looked better in brighter colors – yellow, teal, hot pink. Lacoste: I love this classic look.
I love Sloane’s peach suit, it looks light and fresh. Dresses by Anette Lacoste are also very chic and elegant, they are always relevant.
The worst, as usual, Ostapenko’s top and sky, uh, repeats the same design, makes me sick
Love the pastel colors of Asics, the pink and black of Adidas, and Lacoste always has a classic style.
Right now, two players are on the court wearing the same over-heavy Nike print (I’m assuming they’re wearing the clothing version, although it looks to me like it’s two-piece and thus interchangeable). It looks silly when both players are wearing the same outfit – why not offer two versions – pink on the front and teal on the front?
